We had an unforgettable experience at the Landhotel. We stayed there for 3 nights, arriving on New Year’s day. As soon as we stepped into the property, Honza was ready to greet us in a very charismatic manner, he made us feel welcome. We were very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge about the northern lights and surroundings. We requested a call to see the lights and- yes we saw them!!! We were grateful to Erick’s recommendations at Tindur restaurant. His service was impeccable and the food was delicious. The night shift was supervised by Diana who looked after us at the bar and made us feel like at home. Great location to see the northern lights. Nice design, clean and fresh.

Breakfast is buffet style - both hot and cold / chilled options are available. All freshly prepared and well presented. Really good quality and included in our booking price. Bread was freshly baked and a little bit too nice for my waistline. Zero complaints - compliments only. Evening meals are from a fairly limited menu but the quality is fantastic (if expensive). Rooms are best described as quirky style with a concrete, wood and tubular steel modern design. Very comfortable, clean and well presented. Room calls for any visible aurora (regular) are optional. Dark skies make the spectacle more vivid.

Superb room, luxurious for my wife and I as the room was super spacious. It has everything I need! Breakfast was an added bonus as Booking.com said no meal plan and receptionist said all rooms come with a breakfast. Wife was elated :) For the price compared to other accommodations I had in Iceland, this is super value for money. Pity we didn’t had time to try out the hot tub out in the open! 2 nights is definitely not enough when the F-roads are open for the summer as there are plenty of nearby hikes around the area!

The hotel is nice, very clean, nice little bar area and good size rooms with comfy beds. There is a wake up call available for the Northern lights. the staff is very friendly and polite. We had dinner every evening it was delicious and very generous portions. there is a large car park, free of charge. I didn't use the spa facilities therefore can't comment. Good breakfast. the hotel is in a very quiet, remote area, it is what we were looking for but it might not be to everyone's taste.

Sophie

The hotel is still under construction, but I am very glad that I chose it at that time. With its modern design, each space is softly and brightly lit, the shower water is abundant and comfortable, and the dining environment is elegant. When booking the hotel, breakfast was not included, but upon arrival, a colorful and rich breakfast was provided for free, which was a pleasant surprise. I believe that once it is officially open, it will provide an even better experience for customers.
